help a Corgi in need

if you can give a dollar or 2 please do Beans needs spinal surgery.

here is the info taken from a forum post about the situation

to see pics of Beans please visit this link

"Hi, All-

Our PWC, Beans was recently diagnosed with IVDD after literally going from a happy healthy dog at the dog park on Monday, to complete paralysis of his back legs with no control of his bladder on Tuesday. We rushed him to the vet and then were referred to a neurologist.

The neurologist said that Beans definitely needs surgery and we definitely can not afford it
Our options are basically this:
1. Surgery costing between $4,993.78 to $5,952.78 with 90% success rate
2. No surgery with 50% chance he improves but no guarantee and without it, he could get worse. Especially since we have to empty his bladder twice a day with a catheter. Unfortunately, we are unable to "express him".
3. Putting him down- An option that we aren't ready to consider and that the vet thinks is unnecessary since surgery will help him.
4. Ask for help. We are overwhelmed by the kindness of the Corgi community so far and humbled by the help, advice, and donations we have received.
I have created a chip-in page. Please check out pictures of Beans and read more about our situation. If you can help, great. If not, please consider sharing our story and link with Facebook or Twitter. Thanks so much for all of the Corgi love, support, thoughts, prayers....Corgi people are the best!
